How to Receive Translated Documents – DocsBase New York

At DocsBase Inc Translation Services, we offer the most affordable and accurate certified translations in New York. Certified Translation Process

The first thing to expect once you’ve decided to translate your document with us is the draft translation. We send it to you so that you may review and approve the translation before certification. We do this so that you know and are happy with the product you are getting.

Once you are ready to receive the document, there are a couple different options:

1. Often the quickest option is for you to come into our office in Downtown Brooklyn to pick it up yourself. We are conveniently located close to many subway lines and bus stops. Our operating hours are from 9 to 6 and you can enjoy free coffee at our office. Our proximity to downtown Manahattan also makes it easy for residents of Staten Island and New Jersey to reach us.
2. The second option would be for us to send it via mail. We have accounts with USPS, FedEx, and UPS so we can meet any type of mail specification you might have. The good news is ordinary delivery service is including in our price, but if you would like hastened delivery, we have to charge extra.
3. The last option, and the one that makes us unique, is you may pick it up or request in any of the countries where we have offices. This list includes Canada, Germany, Switzerland, Ireland, England, and Austria. This will be particularly useful for you if you need the document to be issued in a specific country. Because all our offices are constantly communicating, getting an order for a translation in one country and doing the actual translation in another is no problem.

In cases of extreme emergency, we scan a PDF file of the certified translation and offer a letter of confirmation. While this is not a foolproof way, in the majority of instances it is enough for the authorities to accept based upon the understanding that the certified copy will be presented later.
